Overview

Working Principle

The rotary paddle level switch operates using a permanent magnet motor that drives a paddle. When material rises to the level of the paddle, the rotation is obstructed, and this resistance is transmitted to a detection device inside the junction box. The detection device then outputs a switch signal and cuts off the power, causing the paddle to stop rotating. When the material level drops, the resistance on the paddle disappears, and the detection device returns to its original state via the spring tension. The spring tension is adjustable based on the density of the material; it is increased for heavier materials and decreased for lighter ones.
